VACUUM MAINTENANCE TIPS
Most belts should be changed every 4-6 months, because they stretch out, geared or serpentine belts should be changed when they break. Be sure to keep a spare on hand. Just because it "looks" ok doesn't mean it is not stretched out. Place the new belt next to the old one to see if it has stretched out.
When changing a belt be sure to clean all the hair and threads off the brushroll.
If you use a bagless vacuum, clean the filters as directed, but do it frequently, your vacuum will perform better and perhaps longer.
Carpet Powders could be very destructive to your vacuum and carpet. Most are so fine that it gets into the bearings of the brushroll and can ruin them, it clogs filters and bags quicker, and mats down your carpet. Check with us for safe odor control.
On most canisters you can prolong the life of your hose assembly if you do not store it connected to the wands and machine.
The average life on a paper bag is 30 days changing regularly keeps the air flow up and increases the performance.
